recommendsThe monkey gland sauce is delicious and a favourite of many (and I agree it is nice) but I've been loving the hot curry... paste and more recently the juju fire dip which is very spicy but a little mixed in with with a chicken wrap or some noodles makes lunches much more enjoyable.
I love spicy food but often spicy foods are just hot with little to no flavour, so far everything I've tried of these have had that spicy kick but the flavour is great and lingers.read more

recommendsMet Al today at springhill hospice fair. He was so helpful and allowed me to try a good selection of goods that were so... delicious I bought them all. I couldn't wait to try the Medium red stew after the taster, and we had it for Tea tonight with pork and chorizo, omg it was gorgeous, so easy to do, and even the kids polished it all off no complaints. I cant wait to try my other purchases now. Delicious!read more

recommendsThe most delicious cooking paste. Bought a couple of the pastes today at the Birchwood Artisan Market. Such a lovely... person. He let us try a few different sauces/ pastes. We have now tried one in a chicken curry. Really easy to make and just delicious. He said they were all homemade and gluten free ( a big bonus for us) Would definitely recommend them. We will be looking for the stall again to a refill!Thanks so much. 😊read more

recommendsWe’ve been using Al’s cooking sauces for a while now, they add a different flavour to a curry or stew.
Al recently... mentioned he’d been working on a Liquorice Chilli dip, we spoke about what it would go with and I suggested a strong mature cheese might work with it.
We received a sample jar last week, it was as good as it sounded, a varied strength cheese board with water biscuits, mixed continental meats and olives was our tester meal. The liquorice wasn’t overpowering and worked with both mild and mature cheeses. I’m planning on adding a little to one of my slow cooked meat dishes to give it a different flavour.
Would recommend these sauces and dips without any hesitation.read more

recommendsAL's sauces absolutely amazing authentic flavour. Purchased Al's paste at Northwich Artisan Market, I did what he told... me to do... mix with coconut milk. Cooked with chicken boned and akinned thighs..Could taste every ingredient. All natural and so tasty... I have NEVER enjoyed a curry like this before. I have since found out that Webbs Butcher's on Witton Street loved it so much they decided to stock his pastes and products.
